Kojo Addison is our newly appointed Deputy Auditor-General for Educational Institutions and District Assemblies, Northern Sector . He has worked selflessly with the Service for 30years building himself up with experience across all the department of the Service and on the international front. He started off as an audit examiner in 1991 when he was first recruited into the Service with the Kumasi Office and diligently rose through the ranks to the position of an Assistant Director, a Director / Regional Finance Officer, a District Auditor, Kumasi District ‘A’ then to the position of AAG/ Police Branch of Audit , AAG/ Commercial Audit Department(CAD)-Direct Unit and now the Deputy Auditor-General/ EIDA, Northern Sector.
Whiles in the Service, he attained a degree at the University of Ghana with a BSc in Administration, Accounting Option with a 1st class honors 2002 , an MBA in Banking and Finance , KNUST, 2008 and a Certificate in Investigative Accounting and Forensic Auditing with the University of Ghana Business School in 2018 and a post Chartered Diploma Certification in Forensic Audit awarded by the ICA in 2020.
Mr Addison is a Chartered Accountant by profession, the membership; a feat he attained in 2013.
His skills has led him to several local investigative and international assignments including;
- Audit of the Ghana Embassies Tel Aviv, Israel and in Prague, Czech Republic
- Audit of INTOSAI Secretariat in Vienna, Austria on several occasions
- Audit of Ghana Embassy in Madrid amongst others.
Mr. Kojo Addison as known by most staff is indeed a fountain of knowledge for the Service, selfless in attaining targets and deadlines, married with 3 kids, He also serves on the Audit Committee of the Winners Chapel International as the Chairman, enjoys singing about His maker and a lover of books and football.
